GP Training

There are usually doctors, fully qualified with hospital experience, working at the surgery to learn more about general practice. They are referred to a GP Registrars.  We also occasionally have a clinical medical student sitting with the doctor. The receptionist will tell you if this is so, and if you do not wish the student to attend the consultation please tell the receptionist.

Occasionally some consultations are video-recorded for teaching purposes. This will only be done with the consent of the patient both prior to and following the consultation.
